Originally commissioned to celebrate Waltham Forest as part of the inaugural London Borough of Culture celebrations in 2019, We Are Extraordinary tells the stories of some of the inspiring people who have lived or worked in Waltham Forest. From inventors of planes, cars, Yoda and the prawn cocktail, to sports stars, artists, dancers, musicians and social reformers, Waltham Forest has seen many extraordinary people live and work in this part of north east London.
