Competition terms and conditions

These terms and conditions are for the #ICanMakeAWord competition currently running on the Fisherton Press Facebook Page and Twitter feed.

How to Enter
1.1. Twitter – Entrants need to Like and Retweet the Competition post with hashtag #ICanMakeAWord.

1.2. Facebook – Entrants need to post a simple comment on, or Like the Competition post using the hashtag #ICanMakeAWord.

When to Enter and Who can Enter
2.1. The Competition opens on Wednesday 19th October 2016 and closes Friday 11th Nov 2016

2.2. Entrants can enter at any point between these dates

2.3. Entrants can enter as many times as they like, and like, share, comment, tweet and RT as many times as they like

2.4. The competition is only open to UK residents, excluding employees and agents of Digital Mums and anyone professionally connected with the administration of the Competition.

Prizes
3.1. The competition winner will receive a voucher for any three of the Fisherton Press books (approx £20), and a set of all six Fisherton Press books for a Primary School of the winner’s choice.

3.2. The winner will be announced on Monday 14th of November across all social media platforms where the competition took place.

3.3. The Prizes are as stated and they cannot be sold or exchanged for cash, goods or services. The Prize is not transferable and as Fisherton Press will send the books directly to the Primary School of the winner’s choice, the name and address of the Primary School must be provided.

3.4 This competition is a sweepstake so every entrant is equally likely to win, and the winner will be chosen at random.

Data Protection and Publicity
4.1 You consent to your tweet or comment as well as your user name on Social Media channels to be disclosed on Fisherton Press channels if you win any prizes under the competition.

4.2. Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation. By entering the Competition, you agree that Fisherton Press may contact you in relation to the Competition.

4.3. Competition winner will be contacted by Fisherton Press. You must provide accurate contact details on notification.

4.4 Fisherton Press reserves the right to use the phrase/comment or visual content shared by the entrant for the purpose of this Competition for marketing and promotional material, without any additional compensation or prior notice to the winner. In entering the Competition, all participants consent to the above.

Competition Rules
5.1. The Competition will be run and Prizes will be awarded at Fisherton Press’ sole discretion.

5.2. We reserve the right to refuse entry into the Competition

5.3. We reserve the right to change the Competition rules and these Terms and Conditions from time to time. If we do so, we will always have the most up to date terms and conditions on the Fisherton Press website and in the case of a discrepancy between these terms and conditions and those on the Fisherton Press Website, the Fisherton Press Website terms and conditions will apply.

Liability and Indemnities
6.1. Fisherton Press and its associated companies and agents and distributors exclude responsibility and all liabilities, whether direct or indirect, arising from:

6.1.1. any postponement or cancellation of the Competition;

6.1.2. any changes to, supply of or use of the Prize; and

6.1.3. any act or default of any supplier, which are beyond Fisherton Press’ reasonable control.

6.2. Fisherton Press does not accept responsibility for any liability arising from technical incompatibility, problems relating to the internet, or technical difficulties of any kind.

6.3 By entering this contest, you agree to a complete release of Facebook from all liability in connection with this competition.

Jurisdiction
7.1. The Competition and these Terms and Conditions are governed by English Law. England & Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.
